International Friendship Day
International Friendship Day 2026
To commemorate this special day, our students participated in an assembly programme where they learned about the importance of fostering friendships between countries through a presentation led by a group of Primary 4 students. This was followed by captivating performances showcasing how different types of flutes reflect the cultural heritage and musical traditions of their respective countries of origin.
Adding to the festive spirit, many students came dressed in beautiful traditional costumes from around the world. Throughout the week, students also explored exhibitions curated for each level, featuring Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines, India, Japan and Vietnam. These exhibitions were designed in a World Café format to allow students to learn about different aspects like art, music and books from each culture in an engaging and interactive way.
